No marketing speak. No overclaiming. Just what you need to know.

emGuarde is an electromagnetic environment optimizer — a compact device that reduces ambient radio frequency (RF) noise in your home or workspace. Think of it as a firewall for your body's electromagnetic environment. You wouldn't run a computer without protecting it from background interference. emGuarde applies the same logic to the space you live and recover in.

It's not a signal blocker. It's not a Faraday cage. It's a precision tool that works in the 3 MHz–1 GHz RF band to attenuate the low-level electromagnetic noise that accumulates in modern homes from decades of layered wireless infrastructure.

emGuarde operates in the sub-GHz radio frequency band — the ambient noise layer beneath the frequencies your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices use to communicate. Once activated, it works to reduce the electromagnetic noise floor in its coverage area by counteracting dissonant RF signals within that range.

The effect has been instrument-verified: RF testing conducted with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) measured electromagnetic activity before and after emGuarde activation, and observed reduced ambient noise at targeted frequencies under controlled conditions.

It doesn't interfere with your devices. It doesn't block signals. It works on the background layer — the part you can't see but are always inside.

No. emGuarde operates in a frequency range below where your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices communicate. Wi-Fi runs at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Bluetooth runs at 2.4 GHz. emGuarde's operating range is 3 MHz to 1 GHz — an entirely different layer of the spectrum.

Your devices will connect, stream, and perform exactly as they do today. emGuarde adds nothing to that equation and takes nothing away from it.

Yes — emGuarde is USB-C powered. It draws a small, continuous current to maintain active operation. You'll plug it in and leave it running, the same way you'd run an air purifier or a router.

"Passive" in our context means there are no consumable parts, no filters to replace, and no maintenance required. But it is not battery-powered, and it does require a USB-C power source to function.

emGuarde covers an 8-metre radius from the device — approximately 200 square metres of coverage in open space. For most homes, a single unit placed centrally is sufficient. For larger or multi-story homes, a second unit can be added to extend coverage.

Placement in a central, elevated location (a shelf or countertop in a main living area) will give you the most even distribution across your space.

Central placement works best. A living room shelf, bedroom nightstand, or home office desk — somewhere that sits within range of the spaces where you spend the most time, especially where you sleep and work.

Avoid placing it inside cabinets, behind thick walls, or in rooms you rarely use. emGuarde works most effectively when it's in the same open environment as the people it's supporting. If you're optimizing for sleep, the bedroom is your first priority. If you're optimizing for focus and recovery, your primary work or living space is the right starting point.

The science lives on our /science page in full — including the methodology, the data, and an honest account of what the testing shows and what it doesn't.

Short version: RF testing with USM measured a reduction in ambient electromagnetic noise at targeted frequencies following emGuarde activation. Blood microscopy testing observed differences in red blood cell morphology — specifically, a reduction in Rouleaux formation — when emGuarde was present during a 30-minute close-proximity phone use session vs. when it wasn't.

Both results are from controlled testing, not clinical trials. We report them accurately and in context. We don't extrapolate beyond what the data supports.

No. emGuarde is not a medical device, does not make therapeutic claims, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

It is an environmental optimization tool — in the same category as air purifiers, water filters, and blue light glasses. It supports your environment. What you do with that environment is your business. If you have health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

emGuarde is built for people who think about their environment the way they think about their diet and training — as something worth optimizing, not just accepting.

In practice, that's: biohackers and longevity-focused individuals who want every layer of their environment dialed in. Parents who want to reduce their family's ambient electromagnetic load at home. High-performers who prioritize sleep quality, HRV, and recovery. Anyone who spends extended time in densely connected environments — home offices, urban apartments, buildings with multiple wireless networks overlapping.

If you've ever thought about air quality, water quality, or light environment, the electromagnetic layer is the next logical one to address.

emGuarde has been certified to FCC (US Federal Communications Commission), CE (European Conformity), and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) standards. It has also been independently RF-tested through Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

These certifications mean emGuarde has been validated for safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and responsible materials — and that the performance claims are backed by third-party instrumentation testing, not just internal assertions.

emGuarde ships in June 2026 to the United States. International availability will be announced following the US launch. Pre-order now to secure your unit at the founding price and be first in the shipping queue.

emGuarde is not a medical device. Controlled testing, not a clinical trial. Individual results may vary.
